Last Half of Day 6 - Come sail with Captain Daniel

End of Day 6 - Post by Daniel Hausler

Arrghh me mateys! Wowie kazowie! Today was incredible! This morning was yet another dream come true for me; playing soccer in a foreign country with fellow soccer-loving brothers and sisters in Christ! This afternoon, after soccer, we set sail and went back to the radio station to share another testimony and to sing more hymns. Today we shared about our favorite Bible character and what our favorite part about the trip was so far-- most of us said the beautiful scenery and warm hospitality were their favorite parts. After the radio broadcast, we sailed to do a few more home visits consisting of singing and praying and giving more gifts of rice, beans, and oil to some people. Continuing on our voyage, we sailed to a church service to share our testimony of what our favorite Bible promise was and why. It was a blessing to me to see how grateful and encouraged they all were by our testimony of God's grace. When we finished, they asked to pray for us and it was beautiful to see the genuine joy that can only be found through Christ that was vividly apparent on their faces! Finally, we veered to starboard and sailed back home. As we drift off to sleep, there is a gentle, island breeze coming through the windows, rocking our boat and putting us to sleep. Ahhhhhh.... God is so good!

The balcony of the radio station...filled with crazy girls.

A little, local neighborhood market.

A "home visit" that was in a woman's video shop.  Kekette asked us to visit her because
she had been in a serious auto accident yesterday, but was not injured. We prayed with her
to thank God for her safety

Bekah and Kekette's nieces.  Wendy (on the right) is flying
to Haiti tomorrow for surgery on her throat. We prayed with her
family for God's blessing on her trip and on the surgery.

This was the last place we sailed to tonight... the Haitian church that prayed
for our team.  It was humbling to hear the people pray for God bless us
and use us to be a blessing
